Product Details

On June 12th, 1981, Issei Sagawa, a 32-year-old Japanese student in literature, invited a Dutch classmate to his appartement located in a posh district of Paris, under the pretense of working on a German poem for a school assignment. Obsessed with cannibalism since childhood, Sagawa shot the young girl in the head, then proceeded to cut her up and eat several body parts.

Found legally insane, Sagawa wrote In the Fog in 1983, inside the walls of a French asylum for the criminally insane. This book, which describes his crime in gruesome detail, and the dark fantasies that led to it, soon became a best-seller in Japan.

For the first time, the original, uncensored version of In the Fog has been translated into English. Due to the extremely graphic nature of the contents, this book is recommended for mature readers.

148 pages, size 5.5"X8.5"
